The Hit (formerly The Plug XXX and Rusland)

I was looking for some nice dutch grown weed to roll a few joints and so I was thinking of visiting Coffeeshop Baghera but when I walked by Coffeeshop Plug XXX I decide to have a look what they have on the menu. Well in terms of hash I was a few times disappointed here but I remembered some very good grown "Dutch Mochi" weed that I had months ago.

I asked the friendly enough female budtender what is very nice at the moment from the dutch grown weed. She showed me their "Garry Payton (16€/g)" and "Dutch Runtz (16€/g)" which both smelled/looked very good. Hard decision but I went for the "Dutch Runtz" it smelled a bit more to my liking.

Dutch Runtz weed (16€/g) - Very hard dense nugs with beautiful purple colors in it. Smelled very good kind of sour and kushy to me. Smooth to smoke and tasty with nearly white ash. Effect was strong more on the indica side.

Overall high quality well with 16€/g still not really cheap but much better price than "Cali".
Well I am more of a hash smoker and most of the "new" genetics I didn´t tried yet but this one was very much to my liking

It doesn't have to mean anything but so far all strains I tried from them that had the word "dutch" added to their names were really good like "Dutch Mochi" and "Dutch Runtz".

Was expecting to find Rusland after turning towards the blue lights of the radisson hotel; instead, I saw the now too familiar Plug logo! ...Seriously, these things are everywhere... Since it was late, and they had an unoccupied terrace on a warm night, I decided to pop in and see what they had... To be fair, their coffee was very nice, and I've had decent gear from the Plug in the past... Atmosphere is decent, and the staff are great... Was recommended the Kosher Kush for €16pg, and it looked and smelled lovely... Quite mild, with a subtle tickle on the throat, and borderline tasteless... Shame really, as I haven't had decent Kosher for years, and the smell of this got my hopes up... Still, it got me a little high after an amazing pizza, so not all bad. 5/10

(edit* - just thought I'd give the Kosher another go... Always trust your gut, guys! 1/10, at least it smelt a bit like nice weed.)

Seems like it´s not owned by "the Plug" anymore... I just randomly found on the internet that coffeeshop "The Hit" from Den Haag runs the place since 1. October. (source: https://thehit.nl/ )

Just heard that the owner has sold ALL 6 of the Plug locations, can anyone on the ground confirm/give more info?

I seen that he was caught with 16 kilo and €260000 in the ceiling of one so perhaps a change if ownership was required

maybe that has something to do with it...

Wonder what all this means for the other locations, they'd only just gobbled up Baba and SpeakEasy not long ago. Nobody wants another Rokerij situation.

At least this one appears safe but it all seems rather messy.
