A schedule is starting to emerge then, so that's good.
It seems nobody liked the idea of going to Ballonnetje or Stud on the 20th and/or moving the boat.
The consensus so far seems to be 18th Utrecht, 19th Ballonnetje, 20th boat, 21st Stud.
I guess that means Haarlem/Zandvoort on 22nd.

Regarding times, everyone who knows me (or Igraine for that matter) knows that we're not likely to be on a train at 10.30 in the morning! That's not a problem, though. In this world of modern communications, we can catch up with you in Utrecht. Maybe we can lead any other stragglers in a second wave around 1pm-ish.

Everyone happy with what's been suggested so far? If so, I can check with Ballonnetje and Stud that they're happy with the proposals.

I'm good on what we've got planned so far.
One suggestion is, we need to find a way to make it to De Kade one day. We had a fantastic time last year.
Maybe not stay as long,  but making it over there would be nice. We could go before or after one of our invites.

I will 100% be going down to De Kade. If we don't go any other time I will be going down on Monday morning.

I'm happy with those plans. Have we decided on the boat? Is it buddah boat? Smokeboat?

Opens at 10am. My usual routine is Club Media for first joint then down to De Kade on tram 24, popping into DNA on the way.

Are you an early riser?

Yes, I’m. And I’m close to tram 4, so I can walk through the Albert Cup grab a hot Stroopwaffle and meet you at Club Media. :D

We can always move departure to the train station for Utrecht back until midday so you guys can make it down with us all? .Then head straight to the culture boat for a session and have a look around Utrecht.?
I had a look at the other shops and some reviews for them and they are just ok. Obviously do a walk by for pics and if we fancy venturing in other places then let's do so
Also looking at the schedule for the boat on the 20th we could actually move Utrecht to that day leaving around noon and spending the afternoon there which allows the late arrivals to join us like @Jollylittlehun and get back for the boat for 9pm ish. What does everyone think to that idea❔ chop and change lol

Who is sorting the boat this year? Not me my brains still fried from the last one 😂 don't mind throwing money in the hat though At the moment Smoke Boat is not taking bookings for April just yet and the Buddha Lounge still has all 16 seats available for the 9.30pm sailing, we could all book a ticket for that sailing if we did that one and maybe just maybe we might get the boat to ourselves especially if we could get 16 of us to book

Perfect. I hope you've eaten that stroopwafel before you arrive as it'll be torture. I can't eat it and I loved those ones from Albert Cuyp the most

1 vote for Utrecht on Saturday afternoon :D

As for the boat. If we get the numbers and it's less than 16 could we split the costs between us for the full 16? Id be happy to pitch in.

Glad you're joining the Monday morning crawl :D

If we book the boat for 16 people and we only have 14, I am willing to throw in extra €s to cover. We will get the no-shows drinks, it won't be a total loss. :D

👍👍 Let's get a head count for the boat then, if we get enough I will book the whole boat for the late sailing for us and everyone can sort me the cash or bank transfer out all ok with that?

Count so far is

Just been reading through posts above and I'm a bit confused! :?

There seems to be talk of Utrecht on the 20th. Would that mean celebrating 4.20 in Utrecht? There is also mention of Utrecht on Saturday afternoon (which would be the 19th and previously suggested for Ballonnetje).

We do need to find a slot for De Kade some time. I quite fancied a ferry crawl to NDSM and ex-Baba Plug but that might have to be dropped. I would also like to try some of this new-fangled 'legal' weed. The closest place for that would be Zaandam. So many things to do, so little time!

Might I return to the alternative plan I mentioned earlier?
Suppose we were to do Stud on the 20th, after 420? Maybe around 6pm?
That's quite do-able, in fact we've done it before. The tram stop isn't far from 420 Café. The only catch with that is that it might be a bit of a rush to get back for a boat trip after Stud, especially if people want to eat first.
But, if the boat doesn't have to be on the 20th then we could move that to the 19th. Suppose we went to Utrecht at noon on 19th, we could spend a few hours there and still be back in Amsterdam in plenty of time for people to eat before a boat at around 9pm. That way we could do Ballonnetje on the 21st, maybe followed by Spirit, leaving the 18th free for other missions, such as De Kade.

I think I confused myself  I was stoned

Yes to your earlier suggestion on events

Lets move the boat to the 19th late sailing with a visit to Utrecht at noon on that day  which allows late arrivals a chance to join us 8)
I have booked the whole boat for the 19th at 9.30pm sailing - people can either settle me up with cash in Dam or PayPal me the ticket price -£25pp (message me on whatsapp for Paypal account) - no pay no ride  - (no drinks included but they can be bought on board if required by anyone, I never drank 2 drinks last time + I pressed the wrong button  ) - https://buddhaloungeboat.com/ appreciate everyone that has said they will put a little extra in if we don't get the numbers 8)

The Stud on the 20th after the 420 event sounds like a good idea and yes we did do that before and it worked out quite well for us.

Balloonetje on the 21st with the Pinball comp @The Spirit after that  will work fine

I wouldn't mind jumping on the NDSM ferries and having a look across the water, it has been a long time since I was last over there, we could maybe fit that in on the 18th which is free now
