DAY 5
It's our last day today and upon waking this is the sight that greets me...

I hit up
Rookies one last time for breakfast. I fancy a little traditional hash so I ask to see their Parvatti. It's out of stock so I take a gram of
Kashmir and head outside for a smoke. I head back to pick up Mrs HTN and roll up a doob of the Nishi which we smoke as we walk through Albert Cuyp to Darras. We both really enjoy strolling through the market as it's still being set up, stallholders chat and laugh and there's a real sense of community. Again, I have an espresso and the Mrs has a chai latte. The guy serving nearly has a fit when he sees Mrs HTN reach for some sugar, "You don't need sugar in chai latte" he exclaims. It is, however, for my espresso and so a mild meltdown is averted. I actually like how much he cares about his product, he's clearly passionate. Top stuff.
After this we nip back to the hotel to finish packing, check out, bags in the luggage room. Onwards.
As it was our honeymoon, I'd arranged to have the room romanticized. This meant rose petals, chocolates and a bottle of champagne and all that. The fizz has been in the fridge the whole time so we grab some disposable cups and head out to find somewhere to drink it. It's about 10.30am haha! We walk over to museumplein and take a bench on the far side of the grass. Here we drink champagne and smoke joints. There are some cocky wideboy pigeons trying to give us attitude but we give them short shrift. We smoke a couple of the Carmona strains here, no complaints.

The plan was to go to de Kade today but we soon realise that time has other ideas. To console myself I go to the Stedelijk shop and get a nice, big Ellesworth Kelly poster for a bargain €10.
My memory is getting sketchy now. I know it wasn't a hugely eventful day and it was mainly just smoking up what we had rather than any new purchases. Spot of lunch etc etc
We smoked a fat joint of the last of the Gelonade and Nishi outside Schipol which was a real tasty last smoke. Then it's back to reality...
For a bit at least. I'd only been home a couple of days when I booked another 3 nights on a whim. So I'll be back out August 24-27th, solo this time, so expect more ramblings.
Thanks for reading.
Peace x
