Back in 2008, I posted a trip report from Amsterdam...
day by day... without really knowing what I was in the middle of.

What started as a trip...

turned into something else.

Not just a connection with one person...

but with this place too..

This forum.
The people on it.
The whole experience of it.

Years later, I went back and recorded the entire story as a podcast.
And now I'm back here again.

Romancing the Stoner.

This is my first ACD post, but I have been a long (long) time lurker. I loved your podcasts luvtick (K) and can't wait for more. Never met you, but I did read all your previous posts. I wonder whether as a long time visitor to Amsterdam (18 times with vaguely some recollection as to what happened), whether I should post my own travel stories. More excitingly, despite being v old (65), I have another trip booked for 4th July this year via Eurostar (6 nights). Super!
