Greetings from sunny Amsterdam!

Post by WolfDangler »

I arrived Tuesday 1pm.
Lovely flight thanks to my friend xanax.
Checked into the Kras by 2pm.
Headed to the Tuchinski to pick up my industry pass, on the way I stopped in the Dampkring for a fly and buy, 2 grams of Super Silver Haze 10.50e a gram.
Decided to be professional and waited to smoke till I received my pass.
Was given a warm welcome at the Tuchinski, picked up my pass and all my tickets for the films.
Returned to Dampkring to smoke my purchase. Lovely...energetic, good creeper, funtional smoke.
My watch broke on the way over, so I headed to Hema to buy a new one for 25e.
Back to the hotel for a shower.
8pm, Mannekin Pis for vlaamse frites with mayo.
t'Nes for several beers.
Ended up at another bar that allows smoking (ciggies not herb)
Watched the Liverpool/Chelsea match.
Beer, good conversation and LOTS of jenever.
12pm I hit up Walk to Wok. Egg noodles with shrimp and hot asia sauce. Lekker.
12:30pm Ended the evening with a Spa blau and a joint at Baba.
1pm back to the Kras and my HUGE bed, fell asleep watching TMF.
Woke up at 6:30 am weds morning.
Out of Hotel by 7am
Went to Barneys. Purchased a gram of Hawain snow 13e a gram.
Not very fresh, dry. Effect was mild to say the least, good for a wake and bake.
8:30 am I left Barneys and went to the Corner Cafe across from Soup Kitchen and had the first Uitsmeiter of the trip with a tall glass of orange juice and a coffee.
Running out of time so I must stop now. It is noon on Thursday and my movie starts in two hours.
Cheers
Wolfie

A Dutch fave. Think open-faced breakfast egg sandwich -- 2 slices toast, 2 sunny-side eggs. With cheese, ham, and tomatos. Meh. It's ok but I still need my hasj browns.

Right you are, Titus. Another definition of uitsmijter is a bouncer.

I've understood this as a sandwich you serve your guests when you want them to leave, hence the name.

Nice typing to you again, Puffin! It's been quite a while. Last time we corresponded, you were giving me advice about the Noon. Do you still hang out there much anymore? Any thoughts on the BB Haze?

This is the kind of vacation itinerary the wife and I plan on... so it's good to hear that it's working out with so many things to accomplish.

Enjoy!

It's 8:30 am
A little overcast outside. The streets are still wet from a pre dawn shower.
I'm sitting in Double Reggae on Haarlemmerstraat.
Started the morning at Barneys with a gram of Honey B for 13e.
So far the best sativa of the trip.
Yesterday SOMEONE''S KNOCKING AT THE DOOR had its european premiere.
1:30 I arrived at the Tuschinski. Immediately I hear my name being called in a thick accent I couldn't make out.
''Timity Moosecatal......Timity Moosecatel"
Hello how are you?
Grrrate grrrate. I saw da Ghouls hare ...supa cool
Well thank you
I inspect a nudder masterpace
ah ha ok thanks
Than festival personel starting preping for a q & a session.
Couple of dutch publications started hitting me up for interviews after the screening....it started to get a little overwhelming, I still had 15 minutes before showtime so I took a stroll around Rembrandtplein to decompress.
2:10 pm
Screening starts, sound is perfect and people seemed to be enjoying it.
Nobody walked out.
After the screening everyone stayed in their seats and I was interviewed for was seemed like an eternity, but was actually more like 10 mins.
More pictures in the lobby.
Answer some more questions.
Then......I'M FREE.
Quick stop at Albert Heijn to go for a Ham/Kaas broodje.
The Dampkring is so close the the theatre.
Have a coffee and smoke a joint of Arjan haze #2 from the greenhouse.
Back to the theatre to watch DANTE 01
French Sci fi film...
Oh shit my time is running out again....cya soon

Good to have you here at ACD, titus. :D I think the BB Haze is an excellent smoke. Well worth it! I only had it once but it was great. Peace.

Sounds hectic man, nice report :).

I like the way Dutch bouncers can be confused with a sandwich. Knuckle sandwich perhaps?
