Come to think of it, has someone already used the name "Pol Pot" for a hybrid with Cambodian genes?

Re: Grey Area
Went there today. The place was packed and the line up was long but the wait was worth it. Got a gram each of Exodus Cheese and Holy Grail and went to Paradox to get a banana milkshake and try them out. The Cheese was good but the Holy Grail was dynamite. Mixing them with the different kinds of hash I bought yesterday f*cked me up big time and making my way through the busy downtown Sunday tourist traffic was a really weird experience. Some people say cannabis is a "gateway" drug". I agree. It's a gateway to another dimension

Re: Grey Area
Hi every one first post.
I will be in Amsterdam on the 2.4.14 this will be my first time. There are six of us heading over but two of us have never bean before.
The lads who have already visited Amsterdam love the grey area so we will be popping in an some point so please don't just slag the place off and tell me not to go. I respect your opinions but a visit here is a must for my freinds.
I was just wondering if some one could recommend a nice tasting hash ? All the hash in Glasgow is shit to say the least so I don't smoke much but would like to try a good one here.
Then I want a nice indica that will knock me out ?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The menu is limited on the hash side ( other words would pass on buying hash here)CelticSmokeingCrew wrote:Hi every one first post.

Just ask the budtender < dealer) to show you the best indica on menu that day! Be ready to pay 14-16euros a gram ! That said! Have fun getting rip off by one of the biggest tourist trap in the city

The idea is to get genuine opinions, good or bad!CelticSmokeingCrew wrote:Hi every one first post.

I agree 100% with Von Goat Weed, no way is this place a must, quite the opposite IMO.

if you are going to buy hash at grey area then you should try golden soles.
having said that you'll find warm ears, (which is very similar), at central coffeeshop for five euro less on the gram.

Re: Grey Area
guess it really depends on one's experience. Many on this board dislike Grey Area - Not I! I have been going to Amsterdam since the mid 90's and have been smoking since the mid 60's. Grey Area has always been really good to me, good smoke, friendly and plenty of extra gifts (yeah I am known by them as a regular)- the bud tenders advise has always been spot on. Make up your own mind about the place. lol….they are ALL Tourist shops in the centrum. Not that locals do not frequent them, it's just that more tourists do. : >

+1
Love the place, great weed, great owner and tender's. Scoring the little table right on the window is a highlight of my trips to Mokum.

I have going to Amsterdam regularly since the late 70's, I've tried Grey Area many times, never had anything outstanding, often had very average weed.worldcitizen1723 wrote:guess it really depends on one's experience. I have had a few nice batches of their Golden Soles hash though.
Apart from that, it's not really a shop to sit in and the service (although friendly) is very slow, often due to long queues.
On saying that, the continual long queues must mean that a lot of people are happy with what they buy there.
I just didn't like the post asking people not to say anything negative, the whole point of these threads is that people tell it as they find it, otherwise they are a waste of space.

isn't the whole idea to share our experience and opinions either positive or negative? GA is a mostly buy and fly shop for me
also---unless it is one of those very rare times when you can actually grab a table-- even then the seats are not very comfortable.

Re: Grey Area
i think that what celticsmokingcrew means is that his friends rate grey area highly and he will therefor be visiting no matter what opinion on here is.
what he asked for were recommendations from the grey area menu to smoke while he makes the stop that has already been decided on.
