Paul is indeed a top bloke. I have stayed in the apartment just of Harlemerstraat, and it was like a perfect hippie hide-away. Best shower I've used in Mokum too. I've e-mailed him a few times since to enquire about other places he owns, but they have always been booked for my trips. Always prompt with email replies.
Coffeeshop Relax is the closest to that apartment I think, nice honey maroc at good prices.

how long does he usually take to confirm paypal payment of the deposit?

Just booked up to B for the end of may. If anyone has any tips for the area, weed or otherwise, theyd be much appreciated. never stayed over that area before.

Apartment B is great man, I just stayed 2 weeks in March and loved the area. It is close to Barney's, Green House, Dampkring, Picasso, and Popeyes. Theres also a Albert Hein really close. The area the apartment is located in is basically where the locals live and hang out. The apartment beds suck though...Hard as a rock! I was by myself so just doubled the mattresses up.

Sounds alright. Hard mattress won't matter to me when I go to bed! Will give them a bash. You recommend anywhere nearby for food?

Well man, In my opinion food in Amsterdam was mostly mediocre...A good place for breakfast and a smoke was a place called LaGrotte, they have a good full english breakie and you can smoke weed in there. I had breakfast at all the places there including Barneys (mediocre) and Popeyes (good). Theres also a place called Pizza Bakers where they have really great pizza. If you are a chocoholic like me theres also a great chocolate shop called Jordino.
I think this was a really great apartment because it is so close to all the shops yet down a quiet alley...LOVED IT!

I stayed at Paul's Apartment A for the month of April and was very pleased. The apartment was great and Paul was very accomadating. Nice quiet area yet not too far out of the action.

agree, i stayed here a few times, but unless your gonna get a bike or bus pass then id say stay nearer the centre, its too far to be walking into centrum everyday

I stayed at the apartment just off Harlemerstraat. It did the job I guess, but found Cribs to be much better. Paul's apartments were a bit shabby, had the worse beds ever, and as I like to chill out with my own space and smoke didn't find it the most comfortable of places. Having said all that my only complaint was the standard of the place.

ive stayed in apartment b in march and back this weekend and then again in 3 weeks.nice area and its clean in apartment,just could do with a refurb and some new beds n furniture

Nothing matched, but everything worked. Is cosy, and had everything I needed. Its in a very chill part of Amsterdam too. Felt very safe leaving the bikes outside, unlocked most of the time.Coffeshop Relax is two minutes around the corner.

I've stayed in the apartment H1, which was very nice, clean and full of light since it's on the fifth floor (there's an elevator). The balcony on the canal was the perfect location for many KC Jones spliffs
