First stop upon arrival today... Himalya gold at 20 euro for 2.1 grams was a steal! Soft, squishy and all light brown without any crust. Looked almost like a Maroc and tasted like extremely high quality Lebanese. Nice stoney bake that left me a bit dizzy and clumsy for my first smoke!
Nice budtender, a young British gal and the cafe girl was just as cool. Even without the terrace I enjoyed the atmosphere in back sharing a table with a couple of Scots and sipping a quality cappuccino.
It's right around the corner from the apartment so I know we'll be back!

Hill Street Markt was one of my regulars when I used to travel to and from Germany, and I simply love it.
Its never really busy, and the Amnesia that I had there was by far the strongest weed I have ever smoked, with a strong odour of fuel and a taste of heaven. I was literally trippin from a pure spliff.
I will always go back here, even if most of the weed has never really taken my fancy.
Thumbs up!

I've honestly never even considered going here, but I've got to admit, it looks and sounds the biz
The other HSB shop always put me off because it was always hammered with tourists and I used to work with some lad that used to go with a massive group and laud it up like typical brits - this was there fave shop
I'll try this out next time

Re: Hill Street at the Market
Still a fav of mine , 2nd stop , went in for HSS , smelled & tasted as good as before pity the deals have dropped but there you go, also was very happy to see Happy Farmer back on the menu as I loved this smoke last year but disappointingly the smell just wasn't there so didn't bother.
Also brought a grinder & was given a pack of papers & a lighter & nearly fell asleep in here thursday night about an hour after pretty much passing out in Basjoe
