yet England will insist n copying America!
if olny that was true, many states in America allow medi users to use cannabis, unlike this country were a medi user risks everything to produce a plant that gives them more benefits than anything the nhs prescribes

Back on topic,Basjoe's is always my first, last and most visited coffee shop when im in Amsterdam. The weed and hash are always top quality,as are the drinks.Leroy and james always make you feel welcome, and are very knowledgeable when it comes to there products. The bells on the nearby Zuiderkerk are pretty dam cosmic at midday, especially if your sitting outside enjoying something off the menu

More Orange Bud, they didn't have any of the Putjies hash but my mate picked up some Super Polm which he rated highly.

Nice one guys... this is definitely on my list for September's return visit!

It was a bit off my usual route, but after reading this, I think it deserves a quick explore...

Basjoe remains our favorite CS ...the construction is partially done, and the outdoor seating back . James told us though that the workers are on a 6 week holiday ,and may rip everything back up in August -and he ain't too pleased with that prospect ... sampled the Orange Bud (7) a couple times -thats what was recomended- as well as the Heaven Haze (12)and a Melani (?) Hash at 8 ...also a couple HJs -best prerolls of 08 trip. Fell into a routine of stopping by just after dinner for a smoke and Dutch tile Scrabble game . Grew to love that tile set - e.g. U worth 4 ,Y 8 ...anyway
heard a myriad of languages during our visits ...Our Asian brothers /sisters seem to like the place ... some young 'uns tried to get in ,and were handled tactfully . Always looking forward to our next visit to this fine shop .

Got to say that over 5 trips to the 'dam and walking past this place a million times I never even noticed it (although I may not have been at my most perceptive at all times...) until the guy who owned the houseboat we stayed on - Jonas of Jonas Houseboat fame - look it up! - insisted we go there and we weren't disappointed: laid-back, but not dull, with a really mixed crowd and fucking excellent Orange Bud: I actually lost my legs at one point. The guys running it seem a bit off at first, but they're just making sure you're sound: they're actually really chilled out. Top marks, basically :)

Very good shop but i dont visit much as my wife dont like this part of town after we were followed one evening by about 6 geezers shouting at us! She got scared so wont go up this part of town. I sometimes get to go on my solo trips and the weed is very good. Yet to try the Hash but will look forward to it.

Basjoe, was my First Amsterdam Coffeeshop....After 3 trips to the Dam, I am happy to say that my neighborhood CS recommendation from my accommodations turned out to be the best...It seems my initial research was good. Staying in the Niewmarket Area is great and very accessible to Amsterdam's Best and the best of Amsterdam..

I'm amazed that you guys buy hash from Basjoe when its right next door to Bagheera, where I've found some of the best Maroc I've ever tried. Any of the top 2 or 3 marocs will be blinding. give it a shot. The Super Polm I bought from Basjoe back in May was nice and tasty, but lacked a bit of a kick, and was nowhere near as tasty as Bagheera's Golden or Blonde Marocs.
