I have been here probably more than twenty times in the last 20 years of visiting the dam, I cannot say that about any other shop, one of my top favorites all time.

If you like to party and smoke tons of strong buds and hash with your blokes forget this shop.
If however, your looking for a great relaxed place maybe with a bf/gf/wife/husband, where you can smoke good buds and hash, then this is the place for you.

Good snack food, gracious and knowledgeable budtenders. I reccomend their huge choco chip cookies and their apple pie. Tosti's also very good.

On the weit menu I especially recommend the Turkish Hash and Amnesia Haze both are always very good.

Hi Bigdan, I'd like to know, did you try the finger hash? I'm curious about this one. Thanks for your answer

this is stonedsince'67 to say that Shaggy posted this message on Sun Feb 05, 2012 8:36 pm and he seemed to like the finger hash, i tried it back in january of this year and thought it was nice too, it crumbled easily and smoked well in a pipe or in combination with some weed in a joint, worth a try imho, also please note that the moroccan "wash" is a very nice hashish as well, add the turkish and you really are spoiled for choice at paradox

This has become one of my favorite coffeeshops in Amsterdam. I love the chilled vibe. Its a proper locals place with ladies meeting in the morning over coffee and older gentlemen proping up the bar. But dont let that put you off as you are made to feel very welcome.

The smoke is great with the super silver haze being the stand out when in stock. Thumbs up to the finger hash too.

I've found the food to be hit and miss on the sandwich front but the tosties are good. I would fully recommend the smoothies and millshakes as they are the best served in any coffeeshop in Amsterdam.

I'll be for a four days trip in dam in April and our appartment is like 200 meters from Paradox, so it will be our second house!

I've been here two times in here last trip. smoked a 0,6g of ace/whitewidow for 5euro and 0,8g of Finger Hash for 12euro. The widow was nice, maybe not nice as usual but was a plesant smoke 7/10, The finger hash was really a bomb for that price, maybe the taste could be better 8/10. also gapie smoked it and can say that it's serious thing fucking strong effects, it makes you feel like a zombie. also ate a spacecake(better the one from hill street blues at the markt) and the great chocolate biscuits

In here on a mellow saturday morning, love the neighborhood I stayed in the Jordaan last summer with my wife and it's my favorite neighborhood in Amsterdam.

got .4g of KD (described as a sativa/indica cross but more on the sativa side. Also OF COURSE 1 slice of space cake alstublieft.

Sat here for an hour plus listening to the locals banter in dutch. they always have good weed here, plus a pleasant vibe, recommend.

I saw so many nice reviews of this CS that it is really in my wish list for next June. ;)

It seems like to be a more relaxed, chilled place, am I right? Not full of teen guys smoking and shouting and laughing loud, right?

There was nothing remotely like that when I was in there. It's a bit out of the way, and is a bit better for it.

they usually catch them, then kill them, then boil them or fry them, depends on which hemisphere they come from.
