Re: Tweede Kamer
Been coming into this shop for years and have always enjoyed the vibe here as well as the Dampkring quality choices, almost like going to the Dampkring without the crowds and tourist groups walking through. Always the choices and quality have been pretty decent and the hash has been excellent over the years. This last time,, during the first week of August, was a disappointing exception.
I wanted some decent hash with a mellow effect and after having read the description of the Rifman Dunya and having been shown a nice pliable chunk, I ordered a couple of grams to take with me. After I made the transaction and was about to continue on my way, I took a closer look at the hash and noticed it was a quite abit lighter and very much dryer and crisper than the sample I was shown. Before I headed out, I ask the BT if this was the same stuff as he had shown me and if the Dunya was normally that dry and brittle. He says it was and that you can soften it up by holding it in your hand hand for a while (Duh, but why would I want to do this?). Anyway, trying not to come off as suspicious of the deal or that of an A-hole, I went on my merry way. Some days later I tried the Dunya and have 2-3 times since and I tell you what, this is a truly disappointing smoke. Not only is it lacking in any pleasant taste like all other Rifman hash I have smoked in the past couple of years (20-30 grams, I d say), but the high is very very weak and not really mellow or stoney as described on the menu and by the BT.
I am not sure if this hash is just very low quality or of I was slipped something very poor quality by the BT. I hate to come off as accusatory, but this hash is terrible and 15 seconds after the transaction, I thought it looked a little odd. Chances are I will go back in again to this place as it has been a regular stop for years, but this time I will keep my eyes on the scale and bagging as I can only imagine this Dunya is shit or the BT was pulling something on what appeared to be an unsuspecting tourist.

Re: Tweede Kamer
Having a little time to kill in that part of Amsterdam I popped into Tweed Karmer to pick up a piece of Rifman. I had not used this shop in a while but not much had changed since the last time I visited, except the crowds of people that were now in there. The que was three deep right across the bar, three people were weighing up and selling the weed and hash with an extra guy focusing on the coffee. All the tables were full and the room was smokey, it was nice to warm up on a cold evening. Everyone infront of me must have been stocking up as it still took a good fifteen minutes to even get to the front of the que and see the menu.
It was the usual looking Dampkring style menu, my eyes went straight to the Rifman section having never had a bad peice of hash from that part of the menu. I saw for the first time that there is a third Shezerade choice, pioneer block, it cost the same as the sunrise €8:50. As there were no seats and I did not have much time I was off into the night.
The smoke was a good honest Morrocan in my opinion, it was like a polom but a bit more oily and squigy between your fingers. It was fairly smokey and smelt fantastic when being burnt, the taste was nice but I expect nothing less from a Rifman even from the lower price ranges. It gave me a stone rather than a high, best served with a coffee I'm saying or the yawns kick in, maybe a good end of the night smoke.

Slowly becoming a favorite. The weed can be hit and miss but the hash has never disappointed. From the rifman selection anyway
Really cosy and comfortable little place usually filled with cheerful and welcoming locals. One of the few places that accepts card payments which is always handy

After a long absence from the place I bought some Chocolate (9e) today. When smoked in a small spliff it was like hot air... but smoked pure in the bong it did the job great and the mild taste was a plus then. Great bong weed!

Re: Tweede Kamer
I walked in and pointed at the m4/amnesia on the menu.
The guy gives me some amnesia instead (more expensive) and when I complain
that the price he was asking for was not right this idiot decides to forcefully
take some money from my hand (weed still in the counter)
and starts shouting that I should have SAID m4/amnesia.
Where I come from this is called theft...

Re: Tweede Kamer
Ha, they have a bit of a reputation for stuff like that.
Especially at busier moments (friday night etc) this can be an absolute hellhole.
Blaring music, pushy vibe, no chance of getting any info because all the staff has gone into rude-cunt-mode.
About half of the time you can expect scraggly small buds with lots of stem and leaf.

Rifman sunrise 1g €8:50. Another visit to a dampkring shop another Rifman purchase. I have had this hash before but this time it was soft and sticky in between the fingers. A smooth smoke with a chilled out stone, good hash for the price no doubt.

Re: Tweede Kamer
tried the Maroccan Waterworks (18€/g) from there. Looked very nice oily and creamy... the
smell was nice, too. I can´t say much things about the effect because I had smoked so much
good stuff on this trip... but it was no effect like super stong durch ice hash... more lovely and
smooth.
The Rifman Noor (14€/g) was nice quality like most of the time... this time a little bit darker and creamier
nice!

Re: Tweede Kamer
So I went to Utopia hoping to find some CC Sativa, but unfortunately they had none, and no Citral as a back up so I had to go to my back up stop, Tweede Kamer. Never been here before, but I had read they were entering with the C7. While I had never tried the C5 so I can't compare, when the tub was opened the C7 looked lovely, good trich coverage, interesting smell, seem to remember it was quite mild (but definitely there) but again I have been too late posting a review to be really accurate =/ In the tub it had looked like there were some decent sized buds in there, but when I got my gram it was actually quite broken up small budlets, similar to the 100% Sativa from Paradox. Still, many trichs and when I rolled up 1/3g it was pretty strong, seem to remember a decent taste. The high was slightly reminiscent of the 100% Sativa, but it also had a cloudy/hazey edge to it, similar to what I associate with Amnesia. Overall it was a good strain and I was glad I tried it, but I find it hard to believe it was one of the best Sativa in town, pretty sure I have smoke better over the past 3 months as well.

Re: Tweede Kamer
Popped in on my dec trip for some riffman. Walked in from a freezing cold evening with a beanie on as I walked to the counter to then take my beanie off the bud tender went fucking mental screaming and shouting to take my hat off. Now don't get me wrong I fully know the in house rules of the Dampkring crew etc but please let me get inside the shop first. I then Glanced at the menu (glance not more than 10 sec.) I then got the menu slapped in my chest n told too look at it over there. I got no problem to be told too look at a menu out the way no problem at all but for it to be picked up off the counter and shoved in my chest is another thing. So I went back to the counter and when rudely asked 'what you want' from the obnoxious prick I told him Some Costumer service would be fucking wonderful and promptly walked out. I will never enter that place again. Full stop. Shame as I quite like the decor.

Re: Tweede Kamer
Nearly same happened to me in Aug. with my flat cap on. Hat off seems to be a general rule for CS, some are strict, some less. Most that I know they don't bother. Perhabs they had problems with too many youngsters crowding the shops with their "Rapper" base caps on...? But despite for CS it's also a general attitude of respect that if you want to make business w/ someone and/or enter somebody elses terrain to take off your hat. But that's no reason for the BT being so rude and offensive. And I also felt pushed to stop looking at the menue, asking one/two things bout their stuff...cornish pixie wrote:Popped in on my dec trip for some riffman.
