I was DC but as always happens in Amsterdam even the most well laid plans will go out the window the weather didn't help us as it pished most of the time, I will definitely get a visit on my next trip. I love club orange for the bits but i really like finches as well, I have yet to taste nicer cheese and onion than tayto.

DC wrote:Yep, from time to time. Mind you, we do keep a good eye out for 'Assholes' and deal with them accordingly as soon as they decide to reveal themselves. Being more of a locals bar, it's important for us to keep the atmosphere just the way they like it all year round. Personally, I've often found it's trouble looks for trouble and unless yer interested, good staff should have that shit sorted long before it gets out of hand. As for stoners not fighting in coffeeshops, that's a myth, fights happen everywhere. Granted, less in coffeeshops than bars, but then I've yet to see the youtube clip of armed men going into an Amsterdam bar to rob, pistol whip or kidnap anybody.

Vaping Vikings, Bb and Balou, look forward to seeing you chaps and anybody else who comes along on the 21st.

You were razzing me for razzing Panoq...  :)

I can't speak to the business sense of the owners of those places you said closed early, but they must have had their reasons to close on "arguably" the busiest day/night of the year for selling alcohol. That's like Coffeeshops closing early during the HTCC.

Sometimes a "simple" question deserves a "complicated" answer... 8)

Happy trails...
