Basjoes is as great as always, though the menu really needs a little "moderning up ", as there is not one eye catching strain on the entire thing.
I asked for the best Indica, and like last summer was directed to the Bas Special ( now up to 12eu from 10 eu ).
The Bas Special as reported a few weeks back still seems to be a very good La Con.
Strangely the nugs were taken out of a giant ziplock turkey bag, maybe we could all chip in and get James some Tupperwear for Christmas, plastic bags
, c'mon LOL.
James was in great spirits joking around with us especially after we were baked on our ass.

Went on a spur of the moment trip to Amsterdam on Thursday. Arrived at Basjoes around 6pm and closed the place a little before 1am. The Amnesia was especially nice - solid nugs with glistening trichomes; distinctive Amnesia smell; smooth and easy taste. The Isolator Hash was incredible, so much so that James was nearly out of it towards the end of the evening.
Iko, I agree, in part, about their menu. Most of the shops that are comparable, reputation wise, have a greater selection with some offering 30 or more varieties of weed and hash. For the most part though, I like the limited menu which is always top-shelf and still reasonably priced, as compared to others.

Yeah the staff here always seem shifty. But clearly some people like them a lot.DanFromUk wrote:there were some mental pics in that book. the staff really were not that friendly tho. didn't even speak to us. maybe we looked to monged out lol
That James guy always looks stoned out of his head, just staring into space or occasionally eyeballing you. And I would say this even before his recent unfortunate bereavement, I don't believe this bears on what I am talking about.

Ive been into Basjoes many times, never anything special to report in terms of quality of bud, service or the vibe in general.wietroker wrote:Yeah the staff here always seem shifty. However, I've never mentioned ACD - it seems that James pulls out all the stops for ACDers - just a clever marketing ploy?
I'm probably gonna get abused now... I know some of you guys are emotionally attached to the shop!

i didnt mention the forum either, and i must say if basjoes aint the best cs in dam for its menu because to tell the truth the menu is of a very poor standard. but it wins hands down for the best budtender in dam by far! in june james had me and my mate in stitches, he was so happy! and defo stoned
and so far to my knowledge he is the only budtender that said if i didnt like the bas special then he would not charge me for it, and he was serious!!
but i have to say the bas special that day was banging so he knew he was gonna get paid
weed=illegal alcohol=legal why?
