Post by murphyscafe »

Fedup walking everywhere!

cant be bothered with the hassle of a bike!

trams too packed to use!

How's about a scooter then!!!

Boka Scooter Hire

These are restricted 50cc mopeds which means you DONT have to wear a helmet! AND you can ride it ANYWHERE a pushbike can go!!!

We hired one last week and my god its the MOST easiest way around!!!

Awesome, thanks for the info.

I've never had to look for a petrol station in Amsterdam before, so I did a search. There are 11(?) within the city ring but none in the Centrum. The closest to the centrum (Centraal Station) is B.V. Bem near Artis, approximately 2.5kms.

That's cool, thanks for the info.

If I'm going to spend 37e for the day, you can bet it won't be sitting for too long at any one location. I think my plan for a first timer will be to ride throughout the entire area within the ring road, E22/A10. Since I have done most of the obligatory tourist stops, I figure my next trip will be to check out all of the parks within the city ring. Would make for a fun day.
