New Times
This is where we meet up with everyone for the webcam wave. I've never been to New Times before or even its previous incarnation as M&M. It seems like a nice place.
Webcam Wave
At least a dozen of us are gathered on the square.
Trad & BigGuy said later they were watching us on the cam from their apartment.
I don't think they got a recording though and, at least so far, nobody has posted one.
Prix d'Ami for CatTales
As we promised when we lost Carla, we smoke a fat one (or ten) in her favourite coffeeshop, Prix d'Ami.
Lots of people turn up to honour her in a thick, sweet cloud of smoke.
We pop into The Bottle bar next door to de Kuil/420 for a quick beer.
Along with the webcam and Prix d'Ami, this is all part of following the tradition that Cattales had been a significant part of.
I have a memory of a row of people sat at the front of this bar looking outwards on one very hot 4-20 a few years ago.
I thought this memory was of a photo but, if it was, I can't find it now.
I think there were Cattales, DH Blues maybe AzLaker, maybe Twitch, maybe others.
Around 4 o'clock we move next door to de Kuil/420.

The clock on the wall there says 4.10. Getting close …
Coffee and Coke is drunk, joints are rolled.
My watch is on UK time. It says nearly 3.20 (i.e. 4.20 in NL) and the date is 4-20.
At 4:20 there is a cheer and a couple of large joints appear from behind the bar.
Our group is a bit diluted this year as people are scattered around town at various events.
At least ten of us uphold tradition by being in 420 at 420 on 420.
I note at least: AzLaker, Back2theDam, BigGuy, Colina, Drugsbunny, Occasional Bowl, Rob_OG, Trad, J and me.
We make a valiant effort to consume on behalf of the rest of the crew.
By the time the clock is showing 4.30 it's disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
Next it's off to the Nes where the Verdamper is proudly on display and ready for use.
Some of the people who missed out on 420 rejoin the party at the Nes so there's a good ACD takeover in progress.
DC has quit smoking, even weed.
Nevertheless, he still kindly serves up cakes...
... and counts up the votes for us.

Nimrod makes a live post.Some of the crew head off to a place called Sand way out in the western docks for a 420 party.
Apparently it turns out to be rubbish but I guess you don't know unless you try.
It's all good times in the Nes anyway.
