Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
any word when and if these are going to be open at all to tourists again (especially breda) ??? fav by a clear mile is pax de boot coffeeboat (white widow is so strong & the A5 is pretty awesome)
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
at the beginning of 2014 there will be a final decision from the Raad of de Staat. They
will say if the i-kriterium (only dutch) is legal or not... because some courts in the past said
it´s not legal and some say yes it´s legal...
so they decide that the Raad van Staat had to do a final decision... so hopefully it is the right decision!
The best shop in the whole nl (for me) was the Toermalijn in Tilburg (from quality). All bio organic strains, great quality, friendly staff and the outdoor Smoking area was so damn nice... hopefully tourist are welcome again next
year at the lastest!!!

Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
I'm going to do another Eindhoven coffeeshop crawl in 3 weeks, has been a long time since i visited any other shops than Indian in EHV so i'm very excited to find new products.
My route...
Home
15 min. drive
Park car for free in Breitnerstraat
3 min. walk
Magic Moments (Smart/Headshop)
5 sec. walk
Euro-Garden
5 min. walk
New Wave
10 min. walk
The Grasshopper
10 sec. walk
SmartPlanet (Smart/Headshop)
5 min. walk
The Pink
20 min. walk
Car
10 min. drive
Indian (only place in EHV where you can park your car for free right in front of shop)
8 min. drive
Home
I start at Euro-Garden because it's the only place in the city centre where i can park my car for free within 400m from the shop.
I will hangout 40-60 minutes in each coffeeshop (except for The Grasshopper, only buy n fly there) and will spend 10-25 euro on weed/hash in each shop, hoping to find many different strains.
Does anyone know if The Grasshopper is (still) closed? Haven't been in the Netherlands for the last 3 months.

Always ask first, better told no than thrown out, and get some nice new menu pictures for the CoffeeshopMenus page.
Enjoy

I will try to make some pictures but you sure i won't get any problems with the budtenders?
Heard stories about people being thrown out of shops for texting on their phone.
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
Nice idea, Magic040. I frequented Noord Brabants coffeeshops for years until the evil Wietpas came into effect. Those were the days!
Know all coffeeshops in Tilburg and Eindhoven. These memories have a bitter sweet taste though, miss them.
1. Toermalijn - agree with Marok21 here, don't know at the moment if I would go that far saying it's the best all over the Netherlands. Definitely one of the best. Either this shop for the very best or De Graal in Amsterdam then.
2. Grasshopper - very professional and consistent, good wiet and hashish
3. The Wall - their moroccans are great, Hija-Hija(especially this was the bomb for 8€, could smoke this for the rest of my life) and Cristal Royal, the place to go for hashish in Eindhoven, Weed is good to very good as well
4. Snooker - just for the local and welcoming atmosphere, gear is average
5. De Muze - welcoming atmosphere and good to very good gear
Really hope the Wietpas gets binned soon here, too!
@Magic040 Please cross off Eurogarden(always liked it but not that special) and New Wave(not consistent enough for me) from your list in Eindhoven, please add The Wall and go to Toermalijn or De Muze in Tilburg instead
!
By the way I always liked Indian(comfy place, really convenient with that discounter supermarket next to it, too)and Smart Planet(nice staff)as well!

Yeah i was thinking about the Wall but it not really fit in the schedule, maybe i will go there (if i still have some money left
What do you know about Magic Moments Smartshop right across the street from Euro-Garden?
Just need to buy a grinder, stash can and cones before i start the tour.
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
@Magic040
Thanks, hope it's over then! Please report back.
As far as I remember there is a head- and growshop on the same side of the street as Eurogarden(last time I've been was in May, 2012). Don't know if still exisiting or not, helpful staff
!
Other shop you mentioned I don't know about but you're the one living in Eindhoven so should be easy having a look then
!
Otherwise get your supplies at the Grasshopper for a shop in the centrum of Eindhoven they have fair prices. I think they have those you want but can't say for sure as I bring my own paraphernalia to the coffeeshops.

Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
I will already fly back to the Netherlands tomorrow so will do the tour this Tuesday!
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
I havent dared to go into any coffeeshops in Noord Brabant
When the weedpass is gone I will have moved North to Amsterdam or Haarlem so I would have to move out my way and unfortunately I cant see that happening
Guna keep following this as I always wonder what the shops are like when I pass them.

One convenient location... in Africa.
Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
I was shocked to see the high prices in the coffeeshops in Eindhoven so only visited 2 and only bought 4 different strains.
The Pink:
White Widow (15.00/1.75g)
Northern Lights (7.50/0.86g)
Indian:
S.Silver Haze (12.00/1.0g)
Amnesia Haze (12.00/1.0g)
Also bought a Coca-Cola stash can (18e), 12-Pack Kingsize Cones (4.50) and a "Greenhouse" grinder (3e) from smart/headshop SmartPlanet (great store!).
The Grasshopper was closed.
Wanted to buy Hash but the prices were just to high imo.

Re: Top 5 Best Coffeeshops in Noord Brabant?
Thanks for the poll Magic ...brings back nice memories .Voted for two from Breda and two from den Bosch ...
Since those are the only two we visited ...

CS Meetpoint .
Hope they get over the weitpas down there . the Bosch is such a cool town . Happy and bizzarre. Hieronymus rubbed off on them I guess...

CS Speakeasy
these are the two I voted for . Would've voted for Chipendales for its celler alone ,but the weed hasn't been so good from that one . The old Pistache was a lively place before the Grass Co. took it over . Lost its charm ...But remember the weed was fine .

Chipendale cellar
Breda was a nice stop ,06 ...World Cup weekend . Its always good if Oranje Wins ...

edit more pix from den Bosch etc ...

Yikes, 12e for a gram of Amnesia is pricey even by amsterdam standardsMagic040 wrote:I was shocked to see the high prices in the coffeeshops in Eindhoven
