Doesn't look good. Could be like this for a few months. I can see the UK following suit in the near future too.

My feeling is that it won't go on for months.
It's moving so fast that it'll blast through the whole population in a few weeks.
I think the next few weeks could be a bit of a meltdown with everything closed due to staff off sick - with or without a lockdown.
Once it's passed through, I think that might be the end of the pandemic.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I think it's going out with a bang, after which it may become another endemic irritation.
I suppose it might spawn yet another variant but all plagues end eventually and I think this marks the climax of this one.
