Bright medium-sized establishment providing about 30 seats (couches/barstools). Also a Kicker table and a billard one. Since they're a chain the menu is almost identical to the one from Flower Power in Leeuwarden and Heaven in Sneek. Here they got Jack Herer Haze (9,5€), Royal Cookie (14€), Santa Maria (8,5€), quite expensive oldschool strains like Northern Lights (10,5€) and White Widow (10,5€), Lemon Kush (9,5€), Power Plant (9€), Hindu Kush (10€), Amnesia Haze (12€), Spanish Wiet (15€/2g), Small Buds (6,7€)and Gruis (6€). Hashish were: Ketama (5,5€), Pollen (7€), Power Afghan (8€), Zero Zero (8,5€), Yellow Lebanese (8,5€), Cream Maroc (10€), Excellent Maroc (12€) and Ice (17€). Too a bit of choice when it comes to edibles: Space Thee, Space Stroopwafel and a Space Chocolate Melk Lolly. CBD oil available, too. Even got one of those Space Stroopwafel and tried them back at home after a week of detox and, since making my own edibles at home, found effects to be decent even though they haven't fully masked the taste (although to be fair I'm very sensitive about that one after years of edibles). Doubt though they're working during a real smoke session. Looked at the average looking Royal Cookie and went for the poorer looking Spanish Wiet as always like to try new things and stuff kissed by the sun is what I always will prefer. As told too dark buds looked nice enough similar even to indoor they indeed were bone dry and taste was somewhat herbal as expected by look, too (which was still looking a lot better than most outdoor wiet grown in Nederland). High was at best good enough with an earthy taste, more of a body affair. Bit of a shame they import such wiet from Spain where superior buds could be produced. I mean I have been to Spain last year and at respective places I formed an opinion about their approach and talked to knowledgeable people there; all gear was particularly better and cheaper compared to what is sold at coffeeshops nowadays. The wiet in Spain reminded me of the better days in Nederland in the nineties respectively until roughly 2009 so even though still as illegal as anywhere else they still seem to put enough effort in it compared to a way more commercialised scene in Nederland. Long story short: that outdoor didn't come close to the imported excellent outdoor White Fire OG from California Utopia in Amsterdam had on during the cup around five years back. So doesn‘t make much sense to me people producing such carelessly wiet and others importing it to Nederland. In that case Spain could easily produce as good outdoor as according to reports on the internet as the kids over in Canada and USA grow. Also it must have been here where I got that Yellow Lebanese which I saved for a wake and bake one morning and it didn't taste like Moroccan hashish and only had a light effect. All in all a too nice enough shop in this lovely picturesque little town of Harlingen which is a nice place for dying for an equally small-minded one like me and visiting there was a pleasure to say the least.

What once started of as a "coffee house" is over a century later, a "coffeeshop". A typical Dutch "canal belt area” atmosphere and a cozy terrace make the centrally located Hofnar a cozy intimate coffee shop for the current and older generations. Located at a stone's throw from the old town centre, the Harlingen harbour and ferry service to Vlieland and Terschelling.

A fine shop. The only bona-fide shop in this very cool Friesian town. New improved menu since our last stop. Petrol Haze was a good choice. Nice hash joint as well. Friendly staff and patrons. Roomy /clean. Local scene. One of the few non-Amsterdam places with outside tables. Were playing a house music set when we were there.

During my visit to Harlingen this was the only shop I can find in town. I been here last years and had good time, the weather was nice and the shop was next to my hotel. I got 2 gr. of Santa Maria, not bad.

I was in Harlingen about 2 weeks in the April/May 2008. The Hofnar is a friendly coffeeshop with weed prices from 5€/g to 12€/g. In the 5€ weed (it was Thai-weed) was some seeds but the highness was okay. Better is it to buy the Jack Herrer for 7 or 8€ or some cookies for 3€. Finally- it's a good shop with pool table and internet station in a nice small town, recommended. For all underages: They'll ask everyone for the ID card who seems like under 22 :-D

The only shop in town, but luckily a nice one. Limited menu, but good quality. We sampled it all during a 3 day visit in June 07. Well, all but the cheap Thai. But one gets what one pays for. The Zero Zero Hash perhaps being the top. Maybe the hottest staff in the Netherlands. Locals hanging out playing cards, pool, fussball, using computers. Nice vibe. A small partition keeps the buy and go folks out of the shop proper and there's a few outdoor tables for you to sit and toke at. This shop is easily seen but one must be careful as the bridges over the canal can make it tricky. Music depends on which staff member is running the computer, but did hear White Rabbit during one visit.

A very good c-shop. The shop is central in Harlingen. They have a very good weed. I was in the summer of 2004 in the shop and the atmosphere and location is very good: Table-soccer, video-games, family games, good and chilled people. The hash is not sooo bomber but a good mittleclass. The strains: Snow White, Power Plant, Calif. Orange Bud, Grizzly, Skywalker, Thai, Afghan, Silver Haze and a lot of hash. Maybe I can't remember of any strains. The list of weed was sooo long. And the prices are really good. 10€ for 3,3gr. Thai. It was the best shop that I've seen.

Quite roomy, with pooltable, internet computer (free use to customers), videogame machines. Nice place, weed wasn't as strong as other shops, local clientele, friendly enough, best dart players I've ever seen. It's located about a block from the end of the pedestrian shopping street. However, due to the way the bridges over the canals are placed, a bit farther of a walk to get to. Careful crossing that narrow bridge. It is the only coffeeshop we found in Harlingen.
