This was the last of the Rokerijs I discovered and is probably my favorite. It's in the Jordaan, a little off the tourist path, small and has a great vibe. As with all the Rokerij, the smoke is top quality, the coffee is good and there's cool music. It also happens to be in my favorite neighborhood in Amsterdam. Check it out, but don't tell everyone!

Best coffeeshop by far in my opinion. Great budtender, was friendly but not overbearing as some tend to be. Had the same selection as the other Rokerijs but they had everything in stock and I swear their Northern Lights Haze was better than Rokerij 3. The seating is sparse but great with a huge comfy bench/couch at the back which is elevated above the rest of the shop. The floors are covered with pillows to sit on and it was never cramped. I highly recommend this place and any of its variety of weed. 10/10

Me and the wife stumbled across this place a few years ago now and always put in an appearance when in the Dam, possibly a little overpriced on the smoke front considering it's out in the Jordan but you cant beat the place for atmosphere and chillability. The menu is fairly extensive, they have most hash and weed choices, including an outdoor weed called Jamaican Sweetness which is very mellow and a nice smoke so long as you stick plenty in your spliff, at 5euros per gram you can afford to max it up, the skunks on offer are much the same as the shops around the centrum and run out at the same sort of prices ie 7.50 for Super Skunk per gm, up to 12.50 for something like Bubblegum. I tried a gm of their own skunk called Rokery Haze, a decent smoke at 9.50per gm, clean and not chokey at all. This place cant be beat for comfort either, they have mosaic tilled seating along the right hand side up to the back of the place covered with comfy cushions, the drinks/dealers bar is on the left as you walk in and past this is a floor space full of large cushions for you to chill, they have a backgammon board which me and the wife usually spend a fair amount of time playing whilst getting mellow, they also do the best hot chocolait in the Dam by a mile and the two fellas who run the show could not be more friendly and helpful, all in all a top place that gets a big smile from me and the wife.

One of my new favorite places. Off the beaten path out west in the Jordaan, so not ever very crowded that I experienced. This place has the greatest ambiance, they have really created a place that "takes you away," in this case to somewhere in India, Turkey, or Morocco. The whole place is elaborately painted inside and out. There is a big Buddah statue in the front window to greet you. The wiet menu is right inside as you go in the narrow entrance way, then the place opens up to a bar, and one of the coolest lounges in town, in the back. There are long benches, done in tiles, in an elaborate collage of sorts. Pillows piled about, low tables with candles. A raised area in the very back, with a maze of benches to sit on, very intimate and chilled. They were playing some really good acid jazz/hip hop stuff on a great sound system. One wall had all these tiny alcoves with colored lights, statues, and candles in them, combined with other strategic lighting at the bar and about the place, it made for a very surreal effect, you would forget it was daytime outside, ha ha. The weed here is excellent! Same as the other locations, I really recommend the "White Shark" at 9 euro a gram, and the "Rokerij Haze #1" at 9.50 euro a gram. Great examples of indica and sativa, and both amazing! They also have a fully stocked bar with any beverage you would want. Don't miss this place, worth the hike outside of the city center.

Visited on 'Koninginnedag' which was on April 29th this year, together with my wife. Had been some time that we'd been in a coffeeshop and it gave us a nice surprise: though a bit crowded and presenting loud music the atmosphere was quite intriguing. We were sort of pulled inside. Not really interested in a smoke this time we had cappuccinos. Really nice, not expensive. Lots of interesting oriental sculptures there, the interior of the place has been beautifully done, congratulations.

Located on the edge Jordan not far from the Princengraht Canal. The combination of candles and huge back lit wood carvings of Buddha's gives the Rokerij IV a mystic vibe. High ceilings and a good amount of space makes the place seem roomy, you can get comfortable. The colorful ceramic tiling is very well done, and gives the place a 60's artsy look. A great looking place! Mostly Dutch patrons, and everybody was very friendly and helpful. The selection and quality of smoke was good. Gets my vote for the best of the four Rokerij's (been to all). A coffee shop not to be missed if your near the Jordan.

I didn't even know this Rokerij existed and hadn't been to this area of the town before. I was pleasantly surprised, as I've found the other Rokerij shops to be quite small and dark. This one is bright and funky. Funky is the only word I can use as there's a lot of mosaic tiles and pillows around. May be a bit of a Moroccan thing going on. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I'd recommend it as a place to stop if you're in the area. I didn't buy any smoke from here as I was already packing.
