This nice looking place is situated just in front of Roosendaal's train station. Most of the tourists that come there for the first time start with this one. But I have to say that it is the worst coffeeshop in town. The prices are the highest of the area, and the choice isn't amazing. I'd still recommend their New York Diesel, but don't spend your money on anything else. Once I went in there, I hadn't smoked a joint for at least five days. I bought a pre-rolled weed joint. It was quite cheap, 3€. I immediately understood why. At the end of the joint, I was as clean as when I had entered. It was as if there wasn't anything else but tobacco in there. I could hardly feel the weed. The staff is quite friendly, especially the barmaid, but still, I usually didn't waste much of my time at the Yellow Moon.

To clarify: a visit to Roosendaal yesterday and I learn that the Yellow Moon has been given a 4-month closure penalty starting from Oct 28th 2008. So they should be open again on Feb 28th or so. It says this on the posters on the door. Having too much in stock and selling to minors apparently; they were closed temporarily after the 'three strikes and you're out' rule. Although all four of Roosendaal's coffeeshops are still due to close over the next 2 years.

Looks kinda small on the outside but you'll see it's quite big when you enter. The yellow color makes it quite easy to find when you're at Roosendaal station. Friendly girl behind the bar, friendly guy behind the weed counter, good variety of buds, I bought the Jack Herrer for €8/gr which was really good but in my opinion not dry enough (not that big of a problem if you've got a cruncher though but I'm used to get well dried weed). Also you can't see the weight of what they give you but I got a good bag for 5gr. All in all a shop that's worth the visit, some TV's and a pool table if you want to relax. 7/10

I like very much to go to the Yellow Moon because of the conviviality and the quality of grass! I like to smoke Shiva and to chat with people.

Friendly girl at the counter, efficient service and a garden to chill the heavy head in. I like the Yellow Moon Spesh hash best but the Noorderlicht twatted me a good 'un as well. About 7 euro a gram, the spliffs are nice too, though as always with Dutch joints I find it best to treat 'em like cigars, slowly, with relish. My favourite place in the Neths - careful though coz they close at 8 like all the places in the town.

This is a shop with very friendly people, but their weed & hasj is not that good! It's not bad stuff there but it's not really strong. Their prices are of the mid class.

I came by the shop which is conveniently located about 100 meters from the train station; an easy access for all of us tourists. The atmosphere inside the coffeeshop is pretty relaxed and the people are pretty much just minding their own business; as it should be. They had about 10-15 varieties of marijuana with a decent pricing (average 5 E per gram). I bought some Haze and Northern lights and I must say that I was amazed by their potency. After smoking marijuana in the States, this was an overwhelming experience for me. Haze was too much for me. I could not believe how potent that stuff was. I was couchlocked for about an hour and it felt like thunder inside my mind. Wow. I guess the experience purely depends on your marijuana tolerance and previous experience. Considering that I only smoked marijuana in the States, this was definitely a step-up. The potency of American marijuana is probably equivalent to Dutch male plant. Northern Lights was about the same potency and I was pretty satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Comfortably close to the station, and looks quite nice and cosy. And the weed did not disappoint me; I bought 5 grams of White Widow and I'm finding myself a satisfied customer. Two minor drawbacks, though: first, the girl behind the bar was a bit cranky. And, to my opinion, the music was way too loud, you could hardly speak a word.

Yellow Moon is about 100 metres from Roosendaal station. At the square, a young fellow came to me and asked if I was from Belgium. I am, but said no to him. Weird. At the shop, nice choices of buds. I bought 4grams K-2 and smoked one at a table. There is a terrace at the back, really nice. The rest of the shop is not that good and not that bad, you know. More like a tourist shop.
