The Greenhouse Effect

Greenhouse Effect was a coffeeshop, a bar and a hotel. The bar was particularly cool with live DJs playing big beats through a powerful sound system.

Along with all of the coffeeshops on Warmoesstraat, Greenhouse Effect fell victim to the axe of 'Project 1012'. For a while it operated as a 'joint venture' with Hill Street Blues across the road and then it moved to Nieuwmarkt. Meanwhile the bar became Bones and Co, with Greenhouse Effect Hotel still above. Most recently it's changed again to Hotel + Bar 55.
