Re: Arabica Lounge
I had seen their Arabica Special Hash had been entered into the Cannabis Cup so I wanted to try it out at some point on a previous trip. The excuse I needed was a visit to the Ajax Experiance on the Remprandtplein one Sunday morning in May, of course I was going to have a smoke before going in.
I had seen on this sight that you had to be buzzed in through a turnstile to enter the coffeeshop but this was no longer there, in fact the whole interior looked as if it had recently been revamped it was very clean and comfortable with a large bar and a wide selection of seating.
As I had just walked to the coffeeshop my priority was getting a couple of drinks ordered first up, as soon as I tried to order these the bar man was like 'what about our menu' pointing to the weed selection, so basicly you have to buy their weed or hash to use the facilities, just ordering drinks and smoking your own is not going to be acceptable. This did not bother me as I was going to pick up anyway but thought I should point it out for the rest of you guys.
Well I ordered a gram of the house special and was in no way disappointed, as soon as I got my hands on the lump I could tell it was a buetiful piece of Hash. It felt soft and looked like chocolate brownie, once I started to smoke my spliff I was in seventh heaven it was a lovely lovely smoke. The high was good and long lasting I enjoyed learning about the history of Ajax even more thanks to Arabica Lounge and was even more pleased to have the rest of the Hash left to smoke afterwards.
So Arabica lounge was very comfortable with very good product, the only down side was the way the bud tender spoke to me about buying weed even though I was going to by some regardless. 4/5

Was having a drink on the Rembrandt square during my last trip so poped up the road to this place for a quick smoke; unless I am very much mistaken (i was already stoned and a little drunk) this place has closed down, i walked right down Amstelstraat as far as the river and back and could not see it, though i had found it no problems the previous time.

There are two (2) kinds of luck. I'm not an Old Amsterdam fan. As for Arabica Lounge, they moved in 2012 and somehow became Tops which is located at 476 Prinsengracht almost next door to Easy Times.
