Too bad too, because that was really good bud. I tried some someone had at a TnT at the beginning of September (from Greenhouse maybe?) and it wasn't the same at all. Glad you're enjoying the report. This has been another fun trip!codejd wrote:What an excellent report.

Looking forward to some Buddha Cheese and coffee at 1e Hulp in a bit. Going to head to Hugo for a buy and fly in a minute then to the drugstore.
Smoking King Kong from Voyagers right now. That is some good bud. Nice taste, sweet, pine forest-y with a little licorice and skunk on the finish. Good balance of high and stoned. Nice one HB!
(And, the Silver Bubble will smash your face in from there. That is some magnificently strong weed.)

Fun to meet you too Marco! So sorry about that stoned text yesterday. Thank goodness after a few minutes I was like, why hasn't my husband texted me back yet? and then I realized I sent it to you
.
Gapie- see you soon. I have home-made cookies that just came out of the oven! Peanut butter. I will bring you some.
Love that reverse-rolling technique. Been using it ever since I saw you do it on Monday.
Stopped by Coffeeshop Hugo (Hugo de Groot with new signs- must easier to say!)
It's the 5th today, so bi-monthly deals. Buy 15e of a strain, get an extra 5e worth free.
2gs of nice smelling cheese for 15e. Also picked up 15e of the kush. The kush doesn't smell like much, dill and lightly footy, but it has a lovely strawberry flavor with a funky lemon finish. Kushy in the lungs. Mellow, fairly strong stone.
The lemon haze and the amnesia haze both looked very nice, but was in the mood for more stone-iness today. Time to chill.
Keep rolling my party people!

hey geekymonkey and troup, it's j here, aka jerelo.
yes that was a wonderful 'pub crawl'. I did get that wonderful, long lasting, mellow and engaged feeling - mainly from the hash I think.
I had a great time talking, but my favorite experience was us walking - often single file through a crowd - as we made our way into de Pijp (the pipe!) area. Chaotic and smooth at the same time!
After we separated at the tram I enjoyed the Brasilian parade. There was a cappayero team at the end of the parade and they were chanting and dancing and play fighting - some barefoot on the pavement - amazing. Then i watched all the performers (dressed as colorful birds you might say) under the colorful lights on the stage, under the rising half moon. It was warm and beautiful. Thanks so much for the whole day!
Yesterday I had another wonderful time. I went to the nude swim at marnix swimming pool, stretched in the water for a couple of hours (to the tune of Paradox 'lemon' cake) and came out 'all new'.
Maybe see you all again at 'first aid'.

Nice to meet you J, good to hear you're having fun. We did smoke some great hasj yesterday.

Mellow Yellow's Jungle Nepal (One of the hashes we smoked on the crawl.)
Funny, Stan bought some kush at Hugo, about an hour after I did, and he totally got a different kush. (Which isn't totally surprising as it looked low when I was there.)
Not as pretty, with a few (mature) seeds. Still strong, tasty, and smooth to smoke. Probably not actually kush. We actually kind of liked it better, even though it has less bag appeal, than the fancier kush I got. I'm thinking about grabbing a bit more as we head out tonight. Both were a great deal at about 2g for 15e.
Fun times out on the town for our last evening. It's cool and a little blustery, perfect for crawling the centrum.
Keep rolling party peoples!

Gapie
Thanks!
I think you're awesome too! Thanks for being so much fun. See you soon. Also, thanks for showing me the tips on the reverse-roll. I've almost got it. Glad ya'll had fun last night.
Cisco- I actually burned that batch, didn't actually get them sorted out until the next day. Put them in the oven, sparked a cheese joint, and we all know how that goes. We'll just have to chill here again so I can feed you some another time.
Had a fun night last night.
Basjoe's has new weed in and the G13, OG Kush, and Bas Special are all AWESOME SUPER tops. The bas special smells like banana bread and skunk. Tastes the same. Happy strong stoney stuff too.
Also made it to Betty Boop for the first time. Nice shop, nice dealer. Got some Ketama hash there that is super. It tastes and smells like gingerbread.
Going to smoke some of Betty Boop's Godzilla now. It smells and tastes like grape jelly.
Packing up soon and flying out tonight. Sad to see such a great trip come to an end, but my lungs could really use a break.
Keep rolling party peoples, the reporting will continue tomorrow.

Thanks, so much, to everyone that made this trip my best one yet.
Shout outs:
Gapie, you are the best!!!!So fun. Super Awesome. Keep in touch. We'll chill again soon
Cisco, great to meet you, hopefully we'll chill again with peanut butter cookies this time.
I still like you even if you did buy the last of the Gardela
Ohm and Tutti- I love my purple uke! So fun. Can't wait to get a few lessons next trip. The Uke Boutique is looking awesome. Beautiful stuff there. Sorry I never made it to chill with ya'll again. Time just slipped away too quickly.
Marco- great meeting you. Sorry about the stoned texting
.
Jerelo, Nimrod, BigJames, and friend- nice to meet ya'll. Thanks for making the TnTing super fun.
And of course, many thanks to my favorite budtenders for keeping it real fresh. HB & Mrs.HB, Oliver&co, Sweet James and the boys, the lovely ladies of Club Media, & Timo (nice meeting you!).

Kandinsky's Trans Himalayan
Flew by the dam square location on Wednesday night. Busy scene outside in the alley, with a few people playing guitars. The rather small main floor was quite crowded as well. I was in a hurry to get on with my fun, so I didn't look at anything else on the menu. When the dealer pulled out the lovely glistening inky chunk of the trans himalayan I was sold.
Flowery dark aroma with hints of fennel seed and sandalwood. The flavor is the most disappointing part, as I like black hashes with a strong licorice flavor and this one has a very pleasant brown sugar taste with hint of sandalwood and wax. Creeping calm meditative high that is really nice though. Super pliable, oily, even when a bit cool.
Very nice hash, would smoke it again, but I've had temple ball hashes I liked better, and in terms of oily black hashes, the gardela at DeGraal slays this one, if you can get your hands on it. I can't show you that one though, because Cisco is a mean punk.
Blame him.
Mmmm. When I think of De Graal I think of cheese and black hash joints. Loooottttssss of cheese and black hash joints.

Bad Cisco, the party police are on their way to you now. Trouble trouble.
