ACD Page: Ibiza

Whilst on a De Pjpe coffeeshop crawl we encountered this coffeeshop. Myself and another ACDer went in for a buy and fly.

The shop looks nice enough from the outside but inside it was a different story. The shop was quiet as it was a week day afternoon. The budtender started off nice enough but that all soon changed when we started to ask to look at and smell his weed without immediately buying everything he showed us.

Literally on the second strain we looked at t he started to get agitated. As it happens the second strain looked and smelled interesting to me (Cheese Haze) so I bought a bag.
This did not improve the mood of the budtender as the other ACDer had a look at 3 more strains still without buying anything. I stayed to have a look and smell in case something special popped up. It didn't and the Budtender just lost it saying he was not showing any more weed. The other ACDer (sorry mate forgot your handle) politely stated that he would not buy before looking and smelling so he was leaving.

Seeing the powder keg about to explode I suggested we leave quickly alas not fast enough to avoid the shouted tirade of abuse from the budtender as we left the shop.

In all fairness the Cheese Haze was not bad although obviously I'll never go back to this establishment ever again.

Not recommended unless you don't want to look before you buy and don't mind being abused as you leave the shop even if you have bought something.
How much did you produce?

Hmm, went to this place with Stan. Bought some Kush but can't remember what strain, found a seed in the bud. Ibiza has a comfortable chill out zone at the back with a couple of computers for internet use. There was a certain hurry up and buy vibe while purchasing.

Well Stan was showing me the coffee shops in De Pijp, including the dubious ones. But I'm not that surprised it was dodgy.

Dubious and dodgy are a bit strong

Always been a busy shop with locals, personally never had an hassle from any one in the past 30 odd visits.

Always get a great piece of hash, Honey Tblisla or Super Polm.

The couches upstairs are the comfiest in Amsterdam, Period.

Free Wifi and they make a god damn great cup of coffee

Reda and Mitcho, both regular BT's, are great guys but maybe due to the lack of tourists they dont have the required tourist skills that seem to be required

Always get great Ajax deals, 20g of Honey Tblisla for 140 E. Fresh strong and similar to the Grand Cru that hailed from Utopia. When it was offered up for microscope, everyone at the TnT thought it looked particularly nice under the mini-microscope. All all round thumbs up was the consensus after it was charged through the bong

Get to know the place and it will yield some nice goodies, mainly originating from North Africa

Only my opinion

Give it a go with an open mind, thats all i ask

The only downside to the shop is the choice of music, it certainly is no De Graal or Utopia but my Sennheiser headphones soon blank that out.

dont get me started with Sennheiser stuff. LOL

had a pair of headphones....bzzzt. they bust.

had a stereo system (plugged into the macbook with a subwoofer) ... bzzzt they bust

the support from them was so bad and refused to help, while on the phone with them i told them to hold on while i threw the system off the balcony. :-)

never buying any of their crap again. (I have beyer dynamic headphones which destroy the Sennheiser's)

My friend and i happened upon Ibiza coffeeshop by chance whilst on an abortive attempt to find the Katsu (last visited by me in 1996!) on our first night in Amsterdam. I couldn't disagree more with the negative comments. The boys were friendly and helpful, perfectly willing to show us a good selection at acceptable prices. After which we spent a very pleasurable time drinking tea and puffing in a calm and relaxed atmosphere and certainly no hint of trying to rush us out the door. I would definitely go there again.

I went in there once with someone who doesn't smoke, and refused my offer of a coffee or whatever. I bought some weed and hash and a coffee – can't remember what, but it was very pleasant – and sat in there and smoked, and there was no pressure to make us buy a second drink. I like the place.

I was in this coffeeshop last week, it was excellent !

Great indica KUSH 4,5gr for €30 !

Amnesia 5gr for €45 and Superlemon haze 5gr for €50!

I didn"t understand what treetop is saying, because The employees are great.
They showed me everything, they even gived me a joint Lemon to try!

The quality is Much better than in The centre and Also cheaper, with prerolled joints.. Dont buy The very cheap ones of €2,5 but The other one €3.. Snow white i think.

€2,5 is for begin smokers.. €3 indica snow white joint are great!
