Quest for Amsterdam's Diamonds Pt11 Feb 2014 Smoke Report

Post by pengaldinho »

Just a quick trip :D

Day 1
Flight
Image

Betty Boop- Fifty look exactly like the Kiefen but for E5 more.
1g Jbel E9 - nice, slightly racy, uplifting buzz. creamy pollen flavour.
Image

Anyday – no Nepalese hash, no Rootang and no Champagne Haze :(
0.5g E8 Quaze – sorry looking, no pic. Average smoke.

Utopia - my favorite morning shop - enjoyed a little Jbel and then some Cirtal as the sun flowed in.
1g Citral E13- Great looking bud – I would have gone back for more if time allowed me to. Nice lemony taste and spaced out high.

Amnesia – NYCD was dust, but it did smell good. Chilled here for a spliff, apple juice is much better than lozer.
1g Grinspoon – after the lackluster Quaze i wanted something better, which this was, but not up to the standard at Xmas.
Image
Image

Voyagers - Rammed full!
1g LA Con E15 – pine/dried fruit yummieness. Heavy head stoned, but didn't last as long as i would like. Still top smoke.
Image
Image
Image
1g Sour Power E13.50 - delicate sweet flavour with a little sour twist, nice floaty high.
Image
Image
Image
Image
0.65g Strawberry Sour Diesel E10 – nothing outrageous, nice enough but not for E15/g imo.

Walked past Pieminster, which was still shut, so walked back up to

Burger Bar for a Kobe burger and chips.

Buy a tram ticket and get my luggage from the locker.

Jump on the 1 to Hotel Abba, do a quick little shop in AH then off to:

De Graal
1g Cream E10 - nice bit of hash, gave me light uplifting buzz, typical hashy flavors.
Image
Image
1g Super Cream E13 - slightly disappointing  for the first time I am underwhelmed by De Graal's Moroccan! It ok - just nothing special. :(
Image
Image
1.4g Shoreline E15/g - A skunk/funk smell that when cracked releases a sweet pineapple reek! WOW! slightly more complex flavour compared to GP's Shoreline Veganics at Xmas.
Image

Walked back to Abba.
Watched Arsenal vs Liverpool in bed trying to keep my eyes open. Whistle goes and im asleep. Wake up 4 hours later, roll two spliffs and watch

Kung Fu Hustle

LA con puts me back to sleep. 8)

We've got to meet in the Dam for some kung fu TnT, cause I see many fans of this fine genre:)
@Pengaldihno, If you have watched Fearless with Jet Li(2006), you'll definitely love Legend of a Fighter(Huo Yuan Jia) from 1981/82, another look at this story but damn, overall the movie is amazing. Crippled Avengers are cool, but try watching Crippled Masters, Seen it for the first time about 8-9 years ago, and still cannot get some images out of my head

great report as usual

Very useful as I'll have just a few short hours in the town soon and it is always good to know what is good when the time is short.

Thanks for the comments. I think we need to start a kung fu thread. :D

@CloudMaster -Crippled Avengers is a 1978 film so is along way from Kung Fu Hustle, its not one of the best martial arts films ive seen but i have a soft spot for the 70's/early 80's classics.

@Papi -Yeah sounds like a good plan! I have seen Fearless (haven't seen the directors cut but downloaded it the other day) and will take a look at Legend of a Fighter, cheers. I watched Crippled Masters a few months ago  crazy shit :)

@TT - have a good trip mate.

@Subpop - Its pretty good, but over priced. I first had it in 09 from the small Kolksteeg branch and it was amazing, but the franchise has watered down the quality. Still good quick easy bite to eat - much better the McD's/BK/greasy kebab etc. And its open till 1 most days and 3am Fri/Sat.

Uploading day 3 pics (day trip to Arnhem and Nijmegen) now....

@ Peng,

I'm a real sucker for that decade too, martial arts flicks were in transition during those years. I digress here but do you remember the TV series "Monkey", hilarious English dubbing
