Which menu were you looking at Oogway? i was checking the one on flybynites site, it's marked as 2008 though & didn't have blue cheese etc marked on it.
I'm going to try some new things, but it's difficult not to pick up some old favourites when you see them at decent prices.

less than 2 weeks to go!!!
Hey, yeah, was reffering to flybynite's april 2008 menu (my bad, don't know why i saw 2007). and it does seem empty!
But don't worry, it has completely changed! Anyhow, i'll be in down tomorrow morning, will try and get a fresh pic for the site.
I understand for the old favorites! I myself appreciate a nice white widow (however, last one i got in the dam was about 3 years ago, never seen any "real" white widow in the dam with that sweet white taste since then). But i have an even harder time resisting the new bombs!
Oh, Kaiser Saucy, for a good old time classic: Hunters had an amzing batch of bubblegum at about 8€ a gram a couple weeks ago. As good as the 12€ gear. But it's rare to find such sweet batches!
cool, i'll keep an eye on the menu's page to see if there's an update. I'll check out the bubblegum, i've found a fair few batch's of 8E stuff that has beaten 12E i've tried. I just check the menu, spot a few strains im interested in & then ask the dealer how the batch is, most of them are honest about what's in. I make a point of chatting to them anyway, it's a better way of doing things than just randomly picking based on look or smell or description. That said, some 12.50 temple ball from stix will be bought on the morning i arrive i love temple ball, the smell, the taste, the high....
What's the interior of green place like? and how are the staff?
The interior is ok, the window area is great though. there is also an outdoor table but it's often used!
The two budtenders were really nice and honest. They let me choose my buds each time (i know refuse if i can't choose my gear btw except for katsu where i get the hash which is prepackaged...., grey area, dampkring, hunters, green place were all cool with that).
They would also tell me to wait a couple hours for a fresher batch if they were out of big buds of LA con at the moment (although there were some decent leftovers). Never any pressure. But i had also spent soooo much $$$ there they couldnt afford to give me crap!
Hasj dreamer also had a good experience witht he green place boys! However i've read of someone who said the opposite! I guess it also depends on each of us!
I stopped in Green Place yesterday for some of their good ganja. Bought some Blue Berry Cheese, Trainwreck and LA Confidential. BBC has a really nice taste and high. TW & LA Con were both heavy hitters. The staff was friendly and helpful. I sat in the back smoking room even though I noticed the 2 tables outside. That smoking room is really chilled, especially if youre alone. They were playing some nice reggae, including a bunch of Bob Marley. After an hour and a half I just floated on outta there. I'm really liking Green Place! Their opening times are 1000 - 0100, 7 days a week. Peace.
Just weighing in with my opinion that TGP is a top notch CS. We went in October and the bud was the best we had on our trip. Very fresh, well cured, great highs, good choice, a little pricey but well well worth it.
Very friendly staff, nice tunes, tobacco friendly, outdoor seating in a lovely area, what more could you want?
ok i give in...i'm gonna give this place a another chance...last years trainwreck was piss poor....maybe i got there on a bad day, maybe i was having a bad day...maybe i had got used to better i don't know ,but this will be a make or break chance....so we'll see
i still cant figure out why this place was never talked about before.. like all of a sudden everyone cant say enough about the place.. and up until like maybe 6 months ago.. i heard nothing about the place... and read this forum like a f'n bible.
