nice coffeeshop..its the only coffeeshop that i know of that doesnt make you pay a deposit to use a verdamper vaporiser which shows their trust in their customers.

The black lady that served me was a cool lil chick. I was pleasantly surprised when she handed me a katsu t-shirt when i bought some black widow.

Would definetely recommend this coffee shop to all fellow travellers. :D

I like Katsu.
:-)

Nice buds and relaxed atmosphere. I always find some nice type to speak with inside here.

As others already stated, OB is a good one. But a quite rare gear is the Black Widow. Hazed WW....ehhehehe. Slow and very strong.

Cool street view. didn't think that had come to amsterdam yet.
Likemost of the others on here, I quite enjoyed Katsu it's well worth the walk:) Its worth noting that these days the 10E of nepal ice is .7G not 1G. Still 10E of nepel ice + 2* 10E of Chrystal Clear Isolator (.4G each) makes for a really fun weekend :)

another favourite, well priced good selection of the best gears. the morrocan ice & the prima maroc are some of the best hashes in dam, the black widow is also good

Sphaze

Post by titus wong »

Love Katsu -- one of my faves that has a definite local vibe. For me, it is just a supremely comfy hang. Love Illa too, who gives me stickers, postcards, etc., each time I visit. The Crystal Clear has never failed me. They also used to carry the best S.A.G.E.

Anyway, I was checking out the menu on FBN's site when I noticed 'Sphaze' listed as a special selling for E20 for 2g. I note the inordinately long flowering time and the similarity between the name 'Sphaze' and the Quaze sold by Hunters'/the Quasar sold by Anyday. The kicker lies in the marketing blurb "original haze," which reminds me of a claim I've read about the OG Equatorial Haze from Grey Area -- namely that it has been backcrossed to be around 95% pure sativa.

Now, I doubt that this is the same animal since this stuff is priced to move (and Grey Area has it priced at ~E13.5/g), but I have to admit, that I *am* curious. Can anyone confirm my doubts? Does the Katsu strain look particularly stringy with loosely clustered but tight calyxes?

Enquiring minds want to know.

sounds like a decent price on the moroccan ice hash, since the feedback has also been fairly positive... hopefully it's in stock in a couple weeks.

May 09 visit found this place to be very nice. The lady working quickly offered to let me be the first of the day to use the clean bong. I tried the Black Widow and the Northern Lights Silver Pearl. Both were excellent choices. I highly recommend the NLSP!!! I also got the Sphaze and it was a little stringy but not like the Quaze. I liked it, it was in fact one of the best hazes of the week.

This was my first ever shop last Thursday a few hours after arrival in the dam. I went there specifically for some of their outdoor strains but also had the Black Widow on the bud tender's advice and was very pleased with it. Definitely a cool place and my favorite overall. I was there three times in all during my trip including on my last night where I met some interesting and friendly locals.

corsicanbro glad to hear that you made it to Katsu, sorry that I did not make it there on Friday afternoon. It was really great meeting you and hangin' out on my first day in town. I hope the rest of your trip went well. From what I can remember, I had a blast.
