Picasso's do cheaper coffee's too 1.50 in there & you get decent biscuits :D

The upstairs seems to have shrunk but the dealer is a nice bloke and always has time to go through the menu with you or have a random chat & they have a nice selection too.

Got some very nice big buds in there

drink and food prices are something i always factor into whether a shop is a pickup joint or somewhere to spend time and relax.

Picassos is one of the gems of amsterdam, always great service, always impressed with their product esp considering the price it is and i find it a nice comfortable place to be. Of equal importance is the standard of their coffee, which is very good.

It's on the same street as the former Floyds, i recommended it to a canadian bloke off here for his first smoke on an early arrival & bumped into him at flying pig vondel park, he was impressed with them too. I like that area, makes for a nice quiet break from the warmoesstraat & rld places. Jordaans a nice place for a wander, i've got to stick siberie on my must visit list for the next trip, which is only about 5 mins from picasso's.

Im seriously thinking about taking in queensday weekend this year, another 5 day trip maybe :D

For me Blues Brothers gets a 10/10 just for sentimental value, this CS became my homestead for my two stays in Amsterdam and the hospitality was unremarkable. the Bud-tender "Dan" showed my friends and I true Dutch hospitality which I will never forgot, im still in touch with him in fact. There bud did the trick and although it may not be renowned as other shops like Dampkring and Greenhouse it has an awesome ambience and will always be my favorite CS. I was given free bong bowls of Blueberry with Hash sprinkled on top and Dan also would give me free Fantas from the vending machine after id murder myself on there house bongs. Dan also appointed me as the Volcano Master and claimed that I had earned my Volcano license, so every-time chaps would come in to score bud or use bud from another CS in the Volcano he'd have me set up the Volcano for them and fill up the bags, on top of that I got to take hits from everyones Volcano bags because I was the one running the machine, so who knows how many different strains I sampled :) Lets just say this place will always be my homestead CS in Amsterdam and although people rip on it sometime I still think there bud is up to par, especially there Super Silver Haze and Amnesia Haze.

I can agree with Shady there Mango is top notch these are all the buds I sampled from them that I can remember

Blueberry
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1 ... =611233178
Mango
L.A Confidential
Desert Bud
Super Silver Haze (absolutely amazing)
Amnesia Haze
Bubblegum
Jack Herrer
Santa Maria

on top of all these dank buds, Dan noticed that I got milkshakes from downstairs everyday so he started ordering them for me and the girls at the bar would make them extra dank because they thought they were for him, how cool is that? Haha Dan gave me and my two friends nicknames too, I was Nate-Dogg and my two friends were Lil' Lung and Rimmit

only bought from here a couple of time and it has been crap. Best to bring your own and enjoy the view from the upstairs windows. That said I haven't visited for a few years now.

I also had Dan as my budtender when I was there around July 1-5, 2009. He was hilarious and just kept messing with us because we were extremely high. I can't wait to come back and hopefully he's still there when I return from Florida.

I like the shop but was not impressed with the gear. Had the AK-47 x Mango Haze and it was still wet. Let it sit out a day or so and it was still shit. I think we ended up smoking it in a flavored Dutch Master to mask the taste.
