smuggling. THE BAD SIDE

ok so i went to amsterdam for a short weekend , enjoyed myself, met some new friends and also some old ones, which i was glad to see.

but anyway, since the new immigration searches have been 'stricter' i don't know whether that has to do with me getting caught or not but.........what happened, well to start off on my way to schipol i had consealed a tiny bag of my own smoke (around a gram or 2) in my sock, and of course they asked me to take my shoes off so i was really nervous. but anyway they didnt spot me and i was on my way.........

.......on the way back though i don't know how they had seemed to of done it, but as soon as my bag came out of the x-ray machine he started looking through my rucksack, and of course i had empty baggies with resin, lots of tobacco and of course king-size rizla........ and then the security guard had a quick look over me and i didn't know where else to hid this stuff so i put it in my sock again ( i must of tried to bring back about 14g) but he found it, the airport police were called of course but EXTREMELY fortunate for me i just had to sign a form saying that if i was to do it again i can face a judge and also a prison sentence, and also to sign it saying that they are able to take my 'drugs' away and burn them (to be fair i had no other option) and i was on my way. so i'm not 100% sure how i even got caught, could of been that i was a smoker so they targeted me, but i seemed to of got searched randomly. could of been that i 'may' of been stinking of weed because i had been to so many coffee shops. but also the security guy was smelling my bag (my rucksack) when he was unloading my stuff, and also started to look through all of my clothing.

so do u think that i was one of the unlucky ones, or should i just off avioded bringing it through an airport anyway? does any1 else tend to bring things back but have done many times and suceeded? please shed some light on this subject. i would very much appreciate it. thanks.

yes what trike said.. lol. The plane I was leaving on was held up due to someone trying to bring stuff back in their checked on luggage. The took the people off the plane and then we took off so I dont know what happened except that they missed their flight. I think they do have drug sniffing dogs at the airport for checked luggage anyway. I do think you got off lucky though.

I'm flying from a different airport this time, so I'm not gonna bring any back myself, normally Stanstead is lapse as hell though. Having said, I flew before 07.07 and all the other shit so I don't think I'll risk it. Shame, I love my last little bit of Amsterdam on the drive home from the airport

Ok, couple of questions... firstly why did you take weed with you to Amsterdam?

Secondly, why oh why oh why did you leave rizlas and empty baggies in your rucksack if you were trying not to get singled out as a potential smoker/smuggler??!

well i normally take some weed with me to amsterdam because i have friends out there and i like to show them what we have in england.........mostly crap i know but then again.........those times have been travelling on the ferry, and vise versa coming back so i havent been caught.

secondly i only just realised that i had all that stuff in there when they were pulling my back apart, if i could understand dutch a little i think he was trying to say 'i smell cannabis but i don't see any'....... perhaps........but atleast im old enough now and wise enough to know that amsterdam is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so you have to take advantage of it whilst you're there i'm afraid!!!

I don't like to bring anything as it available where I live. Maybe not the same quality but it does the job, I also don't like the idea of not being let in to other countries due to bringing home a little bit of weed.

Decent weed is usually available back home anyway, so why risk it?

Lol....it sounds like you brought most of that on yerself!

I would never smuggle out...unless I was going on a holiday for a couple of weeks. I think maybe common sense may now tell you to have; no rizla on you, no lighter, certainly bring no empty bags home (whats that about?! ), dont have your stash accessible or move it around, or even all in one place for that matter. If it was weed you brought back, I would advise against it as the smell will give you away, plus you cant bring as much back as you could with hash. Socks and shoes are easily removable in public and personally I would avoid this method. That way must be the commonest seizure in customs.

Wash your hands on leaving the last coffeeshop, buy some mints, wear your fresh clothes (if you brought them), have a coffee to freshen up and try to fit in best as possible and try not to look like the typical stoner who will attempt to bring a little percy home!

Remember - no-one looks up yer arse unless they have good reason!!

(dont for minute think I stick it up my arse! - this is just another method that may have better results!!)

I brought back 10 grams on my last trip. Wore two pairs of boxers and shoved the skunk/ hash in between the pairs. Came back by coach though, so it was easy, I don't know if it would have worked had I gone by plane...
