For that price the deluxe rooms at the Radisson are nice. Amazing breakfast buffet and one of the best burgers I've ever had in the restaurant/room service.

For me, apartments are way better than any of the hotels.
I've stayed in quite a few of the good hotels in Amsterdam over the years, but IMO none of them match a decent apartment.
There are some great apartments on airbnb for that price and for less.
However, if you prefer a hotel, the Amrath is a good choice, although it can get hot in summer as there is no AC.
The newer block at the Kras is very nice too.

Hotel - Amrath. I'm biased because the building and interior are original and of a period that I adore.

OR

Luxury apt through AirBnB. There are some fun ways to spend 200 euro a night. Being able to do whatever you like in a space which is all yours is hard to beat.

Up to you. Either way I hope you have a great stay.

A special Amsterdam treat for me would be a nice private houseboat.
Two years ago I've rented one with my gf on Noordemarkt for one week. Nothing would beat that. Pricey tough. But smoking on the private little balcony (or inside) while watching (and waving to) boats full of tourists and feeding ducks is amazing...

Hey matty, no our boat didn't have a couch on the deck, there were just a couple of chairs. However, the houseboat beside ours (rented by the very same agency) had a much nicer balcony with a little couch. I'll post the link as soon as I'll find it.

Just booked a nice houseboat in Jordaan for July, only 100 Euro per night, one bedroom with kitchen/dining room and a living room with big screen tv etc. No deck to sit on, but a small porch in the entryway where I'll put a chair to hang out and smoke. Will let everyone know how it turns out when I get there, but it seems like a nice option for those that don't want to stay in hotels.

The houseboat was this one https://www.airbnb.it/rooms/59966
...although we didn't booked it through airbnb back then. To be fair, I have to say that those pics don't do justice to the place.
