Cheap Smoker friendly hotel last minute booking

I'm hoping to be in town mid June and need somewhere to stay as my reg hotel (hemp hotel) has closed
Any ideas as many of the hotels I have looked at are booked up and time is running out
Any info will be gratefully received

ive like old quarter (hated room H9 i think) but price has gone up there since last time and the balcony rooms at nadia hotel were better last trip.

stayed in old quarter about 5 - 7 times. i never found a problem with beds.. dont go to hotel sphinx

We've stayed at Hotel Old Quarter 6 times in 20 months and have never had a problem with it. You have to take into account it's pretty basic, but we've never had a problem with cleanliness. You'll often be able to get into your room earlier than normal check-in, dependent on how busy they are.

It's in a fantastic location, with many rooms overlooking the canal basin where the sightseeing boats are moored and Damrak over from that. Voyagers is only a 5 minute walk around the corner and we've always found the staff very friendly and up for a giggle. Shame, wi-fi is only available in the main downstairs bar/restaurant (where the food is pretty good), but you can just about get a connection in the lower floor rooms however.

Funnily enough, it was reading this thread yesterday that prompted me to book a trip for the end of July. Stuart's recommendation for Hotel Nadia with the balcony rooms seemed interesting so we're staying there this time. Get stoned in a different place, as the Happy Mondays once sang

Seem to remember Stuart wrote a trip report involving his stay at Nadia, so I'm off to find and have another read of that.

There are some piers near the Nemo centre. On them are several 'botels' which in my opinion are a good, cheap, smoker friendly location. You can smoke on the deck which is a lovely place to be with a spliff in your hand.
Free brekkie and a cool indoor lounge to relax in as well.

Be warned the rooms are en suite but they are cabins, not rooms. Very, very small. 2 bunk beds inside.
Forgot the name of the place I stayed at but it was really nice and relaxed and friendly. They had a nice selection of reasonably priced munchies in the lounge, avasilable 24/7 an honesty box for purchase at night and they let you store your own food in the fridges as well.

When I track down the name I'll post again.

Cool thx I have seen the Botels before tho a bit more stumbling distance after a day of to king lol
