It looks like we have a good number to pick from, I think Az is correct, shouldn't have much problem.
It's not as bleak as I first imagined.
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

We'll be fine. Otherwise we club together and buy a large tent and we pitch it in a different park each day.

Maybe we could re-purpose one of those self-powered Beer Party Bikes "The ACD Pot Pedalers" :D :D :D

Can we talk about 420 food please?
Some of my favorite cheap eats in the Centrum (main meal & drink approx 25-35 euro):
Ribs - Cafe de Klos - Kerkstraat
Steak& Chips - Cafe Loetje (a bit more expensive but worth it imo - 195g Fillet steak & Chips = 33 euro)
Thai - Little Thai Prince, Zeedijk
Indian - Samrat, off Damstraat - best I have found so far.
Chinese - Golden Chopstick, Damstraat - fresh and tasty.
Full English breakfast - Greenwoods
Cake & Coffee - Cafe at Oude Kerk

Last 420 I managed one decent evening meal, one decent lunch and a whole shedload of stoner snacks. :D :D

Any other ideas?

I'm always up for a good Mexican restaurant, or Italian food while in town. If you're up for a good seafood boil, there's a place called 'Wowcrab" not too far from where I'm staying. Utrechtsestraat 45, just off tram #4.

Speaking personally, I rarely bother with proper evening meals in Amsterdam, although game for joining a group when you're going somewhere that caters for veggies. I'll skip the ribs and steak sessions though!

My usual plan involves a good healthy breakfast and then munchies, cakes, chips, whatever for the rest of the day. Good to hear we have another veggie in the crew, Stevesec.

Love Chinese, Thai and Indian. Favourite breakfast spots include Puccini, opposite Waterlooplein market and Panorama on Raadhuisstraat. We're staying near Albert Cuyp Market this year so we'll be checking out the breakfast possibilities around there.

I'm excited to announce that we've been officially invited to Ballonnetje!
As our friend and forum member Mjhowy has already invited us to The Stud, that's two special sessions to be slotted into our schedule. Aren’t we a lucky bunch of stoners!

I'm intrigued by the weed-friendly bar situation. We heard that all the bars on Warmoesstraat had stopped allowing smoking and that this was caused by a ban in the Red Light District but it was never clear which other bars would be considered within the RLD for this purpose. Previous edicts have applied to the whole 1012 postcode area but this one didn't appear to. More recently we've heard that Hill Street Blues is allowing smoking again.

Can anyone on the ground in Amsterdam clarify this situation at all?

If you like authentic Cantonese cuisine, the Sea-Palace, the largest floating restaurant in Europe, is a clear recommendation

Not only does it have a Michelin recommendation for particularly good value for money (Bib-Gourmand), it also definitely has the best Peking duck and the best dim sum (starting from 6€) in the city

Unfortunately, I can only say at short notice whether I'll be able to make it to the 420 meeting, but I'll try to be there at least on Sunday

Yes on the searches I have carried out Hill Street Blues still comes under the ban but on one site it still comes up as smoking allowed and from a few people on here recently who have visited are saying you can still smoke there, hopefully some one will confirm that

Thanks for the food recommend, I visited the Sea Palace many many years ago  and it was good then but for some reason have never returned but this 420 I will make my way there and enjoy some good food :D

I hope you could make an appearance during 420, it would be good to meet you and maybe have the pleasure of having a few dabs with you  8) I am not sure if I will be bringing a rig with me as space is limited in my bag but am hoping a friendly local I know will bring a piece out to use during the week :D if I ask them nicely and supply them with daily dabs 8)

We have quite a few things to fit into the schedule now.

Of the people already signed up, most are arriving on 17th, which is great because it means we can do a few things together in the days before the 20th. A couple of people don't arrive until the 19th and we start to thin out again after the 21st. So, as usual, the most important events need to be around 19th to 21st so that more people can join in. The question is, which are the most unmissable events?

I would guess that things like day trips, excursions to De Kade and so on would be better on 'outer' days leaving the peak days for boats, VIP sessions and so on but what do you think?

Great we are getting a decent schedule together and that there is a nice number of people coming into town this year again 8) I would agree that 19th-21st should be for the VIP sessions and the boat etc so more people can attend the events and that certain excursions should be slotted around those days. If possible try and get the Pinball on one of those days as well so again more people can attend and enter if they like

420 2025 is starting to come together 8) :D
