I'll be getting the ferry over on Tues/Wed from Newcastle. I love it around Haarlemmerstraat (so Siberie is right up my street I've never had a smoke in - or even been to - an Amsterdam park, so would like your thoughts on this.
With the state of the world getting crazier, it will be nice to have a little break from that; but just to know, we're all on the liberal side of politics, right?

If you like that area. Westerpark is the closest big park I think. Very nice park, lots of little areas to go for a smoke. But, literally any of the parks are nice walks with places to have a smoke.

As for politics maybe best to leave that at home. I'm here for a laugh not a debate.

More work needed on the burnt offering people! Forecast is not improving. Still cool, cloudy and a few showers.

More specifically, a band of rain passing through tomorrow (Monday) and another on Tuesday, when it will be quite chilly with even snow possible in the east of the Netherlands! By Wednesday it turns to showers and Thursday looks drier. Still cloudy and cool but improving through the day. On Friday there is yet another band of rain but not quite so cold. Saturday (420 day) looks cloudy and dry. Sunday looks more cloudy, Monday maybe a bit better. Tuesday and Wednesday a mix of everything, possibly warming a little.

I'm definitely on the liberal side of politics but can't speak for everyone else and, as jollylittlehun says, we expect to be far too stoned to discuss such things.

The tradition is that, once we have boots on the ground, we move from the planning stage to the reporting stage. Usually the first person to arrive starts a thread in Travelogues called '420 Live 2024' or something like that. If not before, I'll start it when I'm at the airport on Wednesday.

Cheers guys, so looking forward to it I like a little alcohol with my smoke sometimes, what do people like to drink? I prefer German beer to Dutch (I can't stomach Heineken or Grolsch), so will prob have to go with a Belgian beer or a Radler. The Bulldogs are good for drinking in, but we'll have to pace ourselves
